Desire, longing, spoken and unspoken words. Each of us has experienced such an un\/fulfilled love. Let\u2019s meet together in the beautiful SARP Garden at the Foksal Gallery and put on paper our feelings\u2014for our current beloveds, for hetero crushes, for the girls we pass by every day in the office hallway, or for those we once shared a school bench with.

We want to explore the power of writing letters together and try to capture every aspect of lesbian desire.<\/p>\n

The letters will be yours! You can send them out into the world, burn them, or tuck them away in a drawer for a later time.<\/p>\n

We will also share the touching story of Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West\u2019s relationship and dive into the intensely lesbian contexts of Orlando. For inspiration, we\u2019ll read some of the most exciting excerpts from their \"Love Letters\".<\/p>\n

It will be romantic and cozy\u2014we\u2019ll lie together on blankets and have a little picnic. We\u2019ll prepare some snacks for you, with coffee and drinks, but feel free to bring something for yourself too! We\u2019ll also provide all the necessary stationery and pens. Come join us in sharing and celebrating lesbian sentiments!<\/p>\n

DWIE MARIE \u2013 a new initiative by Monika Jarosi\u0144ska, Julia \u0141asak, Aleksandra Ku\u015bnierkiewicz, and Ma\u0142gorzata Kope\u0107, based in Warsaw, aimed at promoting culture created by lesbian and bisexual women. We organize artistic events as well as performance and happening actions.<\/p>\n
